Innovation

After speaking to countless students and leaders from their organizations, one of the most frequent problems that came up was the time out of the office. Time away from the office equals loss revenue, wages, and productivity for the work center.

We have developed a proprietary method of categorizing the content in each course. They are defined as:

  1. Assumed Knowledge
  2. Memorized Knowledge
  3. Learned Knowledge

Our courses do not waste time in the classroom covering material that is “Assumed” or must be “Memorized” which allows us to cut class time down to 3-days.

We are 100% upfront with you about the true desired outcome of our courses.

We are NOT:
Teaching or training you “how to” at the fundamental level

We ARE:
✔ Taking knowledge, concepts, and experience you already have and contextualizing them with industry best practices

✔ Arming you with the tools and structure necessary to prepare for and pass the exam for your certification

✔ Equipping you with the proper lexicon to truly express your standing as a SME, demonstrated through certification

Courseware Breakdown

3 Categories of Knowledge

By removing Assumed Knowledge and Memorized Knowledge from the course, we are able to cut class time down to 3-days

  • Learned Knowledge 60%
  • Memorize Knowledge 30%
  • Assumed Knowledge 10%

Learned Knowledge
Knowledge that must be covered by an instructor in-person during the course. In most cases, Learned Knowledge is new to the student or is knowledge already possessed but must be contextualized in a way needed to pass the exam. Learned Knowledge is further in-depth than Memorized Knowledge and is covered both in-class and via our LMS.
Memorized Knowledge
Knowledge that must be memorized for the exam. Knowledge at this level is typically at the foundational level but must be reinforced through repetitive exposure which cannot be done in an “in-person” class only. Nearly all advanced exams such as the PMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and CISA contain this type of knowledge and study in addition to a traditional 5-day course is required. We simply remove this material from the in-person portion of the course but cover it in depth via our LMS.
Assumed Knowledge
Knowledge that a student is “Assumed” to posses prior to the course. Since we are upfront with our students about suggested or required prerequisites that come direct from the exam sponsors, this information can easily be removed from the in-person class but covered later via our LMS.

PROBLEMS OUR FRAMEWORK SOLVE

  1. Organizations experience difficulty in losing personnel for a full week of work (5-day courses).
  2. Most Certifications require additional study after attending a course.
  3. Much of the 5-day course material is already known to the student given the requirements for the certification
  4. Some companies claiming to teach “how-to”, while some claiming to teach the test. There’s very little consistency throughout the industry

Blended Learning Framework (BLF)

Our proprietary approach to ensuring success

Step One: Pre-Assessment
Students get access to our LMS and take a pre-assessment before the in-person course. This aids in identifying strengths and knowledge gaps while also introducing the student to the course. For some courses students may also be allowed to pre-read some of the courseware.
Step Two: In-Person Course
Students attend a 3-day course that follows a traditional “bootcamp” framework but only covers information that falls under the “learned knowledge” category. No class time is wasted on assumed or memorized knowledge as that is done through the LMS.
Step Three: Structured LMS Progression
Students re-engage with our LMS after the in-person course. The LMS course contains all the information covered during the in-person course as well as assumed knowledge and memorized knowledge. It contains a structured learning path with quizzes, checkpoints, and final practices exams. Managers also have the option of monitoring student progress increasing accountability.

Our Learning Management System (LMS)

Our LMS covers ALL material required for the exam which includes material not discussed during the in-person course (Memorized Knowledge & Assumed Knowledge). It empowers the student with continuous exposure to the material, fortifying Learned Knowledge from the course and strengthening Memorized & Assumed Knowledge
